Zen Lotus Acupuncture
I had the privilege of working with my good friend and the face behind Zen Lotus Acupuncture, Kira Benoot, who was in need of a website for new and current patients to book their appointments online, while sharing more information about herself, her abilities, and promoting her services.
Perry Township Public Library
The head librarian at the Perry Township Public Library approached us to create a new website and register for social media training and account setup to enhance their online presence to reach out and connect with their patrons. Woodman Studios also provided technology lessons to library staff to help them navigate, manage and update their website on their own, as libraries constantly share new information on their platforms and it's more efficient when they can do it on their own!
Yoga Art Music | Corinne Alice in Wonderland
This project was where Woodman Studios officially began. I had been approached by a parent of children from the library I worked at in high school as she knew I was interested in digital design, to help her spice up her existing website. She wanted to highlight her retreats she was offering at the time, and needed a more accessible way of displaying her information and services.
Budzie Pet Photography
An extremely talented pet photographer located in Oakville, Ontario, was seeking assistance with touching up their previous website and giving their whole brand a fresh new look! We created a multi-page website with portfolio galleries built-in along with a Client Portal where clients can view their photos and download them after entering an access password.
Boyle Electric
Steve Boyle from Boyle Electric reached out to help him put his business online. He did not want to get too much into the social media side of things, and didn't want his website too complicated, so we opted for a simple one-page design with all the basic information a client would need to know about his business, and a prompt for them to call him or email him to receive a free quote.
Joy of Reading Celebration
Through my high school employment at the Burk's Falls Armour & Ryerson Union Public Library, I was a part of the creation and deployment of the Joy of Reading Celebration, inspired by the Forest of Reading Program (Canadian student literacy program) and the first annual event took place in March 2019. It was a huge success, and preparations began for the next celebration. I was just entering college for Interactive Media Design - Web, and the head organizers approached me to assist with the creation of a website!
iCo-op Project | Georgian College
I had attended Georgian College in 2019 for the Interactive Media Design - Web program, and during the lockdown due to the COVID-19 pandemic, my co-op placement was transferred online. I was a part of a pilot run of an iCo-op experience. This consisted of a large group of students in various related programs such as computer programming and business studies, that attended weekly webinars about working in the industry as part of a team. Periodically, we would have to complete various exercises involving project management and budgeting, and working with a variety of different clients.
